This native gold is now the largest one in the world, and was officially unveiled in Chenzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center during the seventh China (Hunan) International Mineral and Gem Expo. It was the first time that the mineral crystal had been on show in the international exhibition after being excavated.
Weighing 94 kilograms, this native gold is 60 centimeters long and 42 centimeters wide. It contains 39,689 grams of gold and is worth more than 15 million yuan. Due to the scarcity, its price could rise by twice or three times. The native gold was discovered by a miner Henry Dole in Australia in August, 2018. When he was drilling the mine, there was some gold scrap in the hole so he dug it up and found the native gold.
